From 1 September new rules will complicate building small single-storey homes without permit

Single-storey homes of around 63 m², popular with young couples and retirees for their accessibility and low cost, will become harder to build under simplified procedures after 1 September. Changes to Polish construction regulations will affect plans that previously required no full building permit. The shift may catch many families mid-planning and force them to revise their projects.
