Over 330 dead in Nepal and Tibet floods; rescuers race against time

Floods and mudslides in Nepal and Tibet have killed more than 330 people, with nearly a thousand still missing. Polish rescue veteran St. bryg. Marcin Kędra, who led a rescue team in Kathmandu after the 2015 earthquake, says chances of survival under mud are far lower than under rubble — where victims can survive up to seven days. Mudslides leave rescuers a much narrower window to find survivors.
