Nawrocki vetoes law allowing residents to challenge air protection programmes

President Karol Nawrocki has vetoed a law that would have allowed residents to challenge air protection programmes in court. The presidential office stated that Nawrocki fears the law could be misused by environmental organisations or other entities contrary to its intended purpose. The veto means the legislation cannot enter into force without a new vote in the Sejm.
