IMGW issues orange alerts: violent storms and heavy rain overnight

Poland's national meteorological institute IMGW has issued orange-level warnings for parts of the country ahead of an active weather front moving through overnight. Violent thunderstorms and heavy rainfall are expected mainly in the west, and partly in the north and centre. Separate warnings for heatwaves and strong winds remain in force in other regions.
