Lake Średzkie drying up — water level drops up to 2 metres in a year

Lake Średzkie near Środa Wielkopolska in the Greater Poland region is rapidly losing water. The water level has dropped by up to 1.5–2 metres in a single year, with the shoreline receding by several metres. Local residents told TVP3 Poznań they have never seen the water this low.
