Israeli colonel who ordered the Gaza aid-worker strike: "I don't regret it"

Israeli army Colonel Noczi Mendel told Australian broadcaster ABC that he gave the order for the strike on the aid-worker convoy in Gaza in 2024, in what is described as the first interview with the officer responsible. The attack killed Polish volunteer Damian Soból and six others. "I am the commander and I gave the order. I did not shy away from the situation," Mendel said, adding he has no regrets.
