Tauron ends estimated billing — from September, prosumers pay based on real meter readings

From 1 September 2026, all prosumers connected to the Tauron Distribution network will switch to a monthly billing cycle based on actual meter readings. Bills based on estimated energy consumption will be phased out. The change is intended to make electricity invoices more accurate and transparent.
