Nawrocki's veto opened door for Zondacrypto boss to seek crown witness status
The head of collapsed cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto can now cooperate with prosecutors as a so-called minor crown witness, a possibility created by President Nawrocki's veto of an earlier law. Lawyers explain that without the veto, the minor crown witness provision would not have applied to this case. The suspect may receive a reduced sentence in exchange for disclosing information about other participants in the affair.
