Sweet shop inspection: violations found in 50 of 80 outlets checked

Poland's IJHARS food inspection authority checked 80 confectionery and cake shops — physical and online — and found violations in 50 of them. Inspectors flagged hidden artificial colourings, misleading product names, packaging depicting fruit not present in the ingredients, and falsified nutritional values. The findings point to widespread consumer deception in the sweets sector.
