Six detained for fraudulent flood-aid claims — three remanded in custody

Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau and the European Public Prosecutor's Office detained six people suspected of fraudulently claiming flood-aid compensation despite suffering no flood damage. Three were remanded in custody. Those detained include representatives of three companies and a former senior official of the Karkonoska Regional Development Agency.
