S&P upgrades Poland to developed market status
S&P Dow Jones Indices has reclassified Poland as a developed market. Analysts from the Polish Economic Institute note that Poland's weight in the developed market index will be smaller than in the emerging market index, but the total capital at stake is far greater. The benefits of the upgrade are expected to materialise gradually.
