Kyiv theatre reimagines Homer's Odyssey through the lens of wartime Ukraine

A theatre in wartime Kyiv has staged a new production of Homer's "Odyssey" that reimagines the ancient epic through the experience of modern Ukraine at war. The show draws parallels between the journey of Odysseus and the suffering, displacement and longing for home felt by Ukrainians today. The production was created amid ongoing armed conflict in the country.
