Poll: Half of Poles say Piesiewicz affair damages PiS's image

A SW Research poll for rp.pl found that 50.5% of Poles believe the watch affair — in which Polish Olympic Committee chief Radosław Piesiewicz allegedly received a watch from Zondacrypto CEO Przemysław Kral — damages the image of Law and Justice (PiS). On 27 August, Piesiewicz was charged with paid protection and preferential treatment of creditors amid threatened insolvency. The case is becoming another reputational burden for the party.
