Lower Silesia corruption case: court remands KARR official and two businessmen after CBA operation
A district court has remanded in custody three people — an official from the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency (KARR) and two businessmen — following operations by Poland's anti-corruption bureau CBA and charges filed by the European Public Prosecutor's Office. The scandal was exposed by Wirtualna Polska. The arrests were confirmed by Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesman for the minister coordinating the special services.
