Poles increasingly see Ukraine as a rival, not a victim, new CBOS survey shows

A new CBOS survey shows that Poles opposed to Ukraine joining the EU now nearly equal those in favour, a dramatic shift from four years ago. More than half of Poles currently oppose accepting Ukrainian refugees. Sociologists point to growing economic competition and war fatigue as the main drivers of this change in public opinion.
