Record mortgage lending in Poland — highest in nearly 20 years

In the second quarter of 2026, Polish banks granted the highest number of home loans in nearly two decades, with the total value setting an all-time record. The mortgage market revival is increasingly driving up residential property prices. It marks the biggest credit boom in close to 20 years.
