ICE to buy 6,000 electric-shock gloves for immigration officers

The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) has ordered 6,000 pairs of electric-shock gloves for its officers. The purchase has drawn protests from civil rights advocates who question the use of such equipment during migrant detentions. It is the latest controversial piece of kit procured for US immigration enforcement.
