Alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to face trial in June 2028

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks known as KSM, will stand trial before a US military court at Guantanamo Bay in June 2028, a court spokesman announced Thursday. Mohammed was considered one of Osama bin Laden's top lieutenants and was captured in March 2003.
