South Korea to re-examine 310,000 missing persons cases after falsified records scandal
South Korean police will re-examine about 310,000 missing persons cases closed over the past three years following a scandal in which an officer was arrested for allegedly falsifying records on two people later found dead. President Lee Jae Myung ordered an investigation and demanded a police reform plan in response to the case.
