No universal cancer vaccine coming — personalised mRNA therapies are the future

Dr Marcin Ziętek, head of the Soft Tissue, Skin and Melanoma Tumour Centre at Lower Silesia Oncology Centre, says oncology is not heading toward a single mass-market cancer vaccine. Instead, universal technological platforms such as mRNA will enable personalised combination therapies tailored to individual patients' tumour profiles.
