Kherson residents urged to evacuate after Russian strikes hit heating plant

Kherson regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin called on residents to leave the southern Ukrainian city on Thursday following Russian strikes that damaged a district heating plant. The attacks threatened prolonged outages of both power and heating for the city's population. Kherson has been a repeated target of Russian bombardment.
