Germany's tourism industry warns AfD's "think German" plan could damage the country's image

Reinhard Meyer, head of the German Tourism Association, has criticised AfD's plans in Saxony-Anhalt to replace mainstream tourism marketing with "patriotic tourism concepts" and the slogan "deutschdenken" (think German). Meyer warned the approach could poison Germany's international image as a travel destination and deter foreign visitors.
