19 weeks without tap water in Komorzno as pesticide contamination persists

Residents of Komorzno in the Wołczyn municipality (Kluczbork county) have been unable to use tap water since 18 April, when the pesticide chlorpyrifos was detected in the supply. Tests conducted on 19 August show that contamination levels still exceed permitted limits at several measurement points. The situation has forced residents to rely on alternative water sources for nearly five months.
