Werro misses 800m world record by 0.4 seconds in Zurich

European champion Audrey Werro came within just over 0.4 seconds of breaking Jarmila Kratochvilova's 800m world record — the oldest outdoor world record in athletics — at the Diamond League meeting in Zurich. The Zurich event produced a wave of world records in a single evening of competition.
