Ubisoft accidentally sold Heroes of Might and Magic 3 on Steam without game files

Ubisoft has apologised after the Steam release of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 was shipped without the actual game files needed to run it. The release was intended to generate excitement ahead of an upcoming remake of the classic title. The company acknowledged the mistake and apologised to affected customers.
