Poland, Netherlands, Spain and Sweden urge EU to use frozen Russian assets for Ukraine

The Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Sweden have jointly called on the EU to resume debate on using frozen Russian assets to plug gaps in Ukraine's defence budget, which they say amounts to billions of euros. The letter was reported by Politico. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski commented: "It is the aggressor who must pay for the consequences of its aggression."
