Russian troops attempt to cross the drained Kakhovka reservoir in deadly cat-and-mouse battles

Russian soldiers are attempting to cross to the far bank of the former Kakhovka reservoir, the New York Times reports. After Russia blew up the dam, the area turned into dense jungle where spotting the enemy is nearly impossible, leading to what troops describe as a "deadly game of cat and mouse". The crossing is proving extremely difficult and dangerous.
