Poland's CBA arrests six in Lower Silesia over alleged flood-relief fraud

Officers from Poland's Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) detained six people in Lower Silesia on suspicion of fraud related to flood-relief compensation paid to businesses affected by the 2024 floods. The suspects were brought before the European Prosecutor's Office and formally charged. No details on the scale of the alleged fraud were disclosed.
