Polish tourist dies after falling into glacial river in Icelandic canyon

A 39-year-old tourist from Środa Wielkopolska fell into a glacial river in the Stuðlagil canyon in eastern Iceland. Rescue services were unable to save him. Local Polish outlet Głos Powiatu Średzkiego confirmed the victim was a Polish national.
