Connecticut sues Kalshi — prediction market battle may head to Supreme Court

Connecticut has filed a lawsuit against prediction market platform Kalshi, adding to an existing legal battle playing out across state and federal courts. Outcomes so far are roughly split between the two sides, raising the prospect that the Supreme Court may ultimately need to weigh in. Kalshi is one of the largest platforms allowing users to bet on political and economic outcomes.
