Recall referendum drive launched against Gliwice mayor Kuczyńska-Budka

Residents of Gliwice have begun collecting signatures for a referendum to recall city president Katarzyna Kuczyńska-Budka, wife of Civic Coalition MP Borys Budka. A similarly tense political situation is reported in Bielsko-Biała, where a comparable recall initiative may also emerge. It is the latest in a series of Polish cities facing local recall procedures.
