Poland bans phones in primary schools from September — enforcement unclear
From the new school year, Polish primary schools will enforce a ban on mobile phones. Headteachers are flagging difficulties in applying the rules, including concerns about storing expensive devices and the legal risks of confiscating phones from unruly pupils. The ban does not cover secondary schools, where a legal grey area is expected to persist.
