Danish fish giant Espersen to close Koszalin plant — up to 700 jobs at risk

Danish fish processing giant Espersen will close one of its two plants in Koszalin, Poland, by the end of the year, putting up to 700 jobs at risk. More than 300 workers will receive redundancy notices as early as August. The director of the local employment office in Koszalin described the situation as a "shameful record" for the region.
