Dried Kakhovka reservoir bed becomes new Russian attack route toward Zaporizhzhia
Russian troops are using overgrown vegetation on the dried bed of the Kakhovka reservoir to push toward Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine, according to the New York Times. Dense vegetation limits drone use, forcing both sides into close-quarters combat. Ukrainian forces are engaged in direct fighting with Russian units in the area.
