Nepal disaster: bodies mixed with mud, some victims may never be found
A violent high-altitude disaster struck Nepal, with a devastating torrent of mud, water, rocks and debris claiming multiple lives. Water accident expert Maciej Rokus told WP it was not a typical flood but a crushing mountain cataclysm, and that some victims will likely never be recovered, as human remains may be unidentifiable amid the wreckage. A desperate message from the scene read: "Pray for us."
