Ratko Mladić, "Butcher of the Balkans," dies in Hague prison hospital
Ratko Mladić, former commander of Bosnian Serb forces during the 1992–1995 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has died in a prison hospital in The Hague, according to Serbian public television and Reuters. He was convicted of genocide and war crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment, including for the Srebrenica massacre.
