Swedish Gripen fires Taurus cruise missile for the first time — 500 km range

The Swedish JAS 39 Gripen fighter jet has fired a Taurus KEPD 350 cruise missile for the first time, extending its ground-attack range to over 500 kilometres. The test significantly expands the offensive capabilities of Sweden's air force. The Taurus KEPD 350 is one of Europe's most powerful air-to-ground cruise missiles.
