Residents of Zabłudów block solar farms planned on 970 hectares of farmland

In the Zabłudów municipality in the Podlaskie region, solar farms were planned across more than 970 hectares of agricultural land. A protest committee gathered nearly 1,600 signatures against the investments. Under pressure from residents, the municipal council rejected the general plan that would have allowed the panels to be built.
