Two injections reversed Alzheimer's symptoms in mice — scientists call it a breakthrough

A US university team has published findings in "Cell Biomaterials" showing a nanogel-based therapy can chemically prompt a diseased brain to generate new nerve cells. In mice with advanced Alzheimer's, just two injections reversed symptoms — a first, since current medicine can only slow the disease, not rebuild lost neurons. Researcher Peisheng Xu led the work. Scientists caution that human trials are still ahead.
