Pentagon praises Poland for record defence spending

US Deputy Secretary of Defense Elbridge Colby praised Poland, Germany and the Netherlands on Thursday during a visit to NATO Headquarters in Brussels for dramatically increasing their defence spending. He expressed hope that other alliance members would follow their example. Poland has for some time been among the NATO leaders in terms of the share of GDP allocated to defence.
