Russia blocks ODIHR election observers from State Duma vote
Russia will not allow observers from the OSCE's Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), headquartered in Warsaw, to monitor the upcoming State Duma elections, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced. Moscow accuses ODIHR of bias. The move continues Russia's pattern of barring independent international election monitoring.
