Ukrainian intelligence: Russia plans to mobilise 600,000 troops in 2026–27

Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR) and Foreign Intelligence Service (SZRU) have reported that Russia plans to mobilise 600,000 troops in 2026–27. The move is said to be a response to mounting front-line losses and loss of battlefield initiative. Russia is reportedly losing soldiers faster than it can recruit them.
