CIA chief Ratcliffe makes secret Moscow visit — allies given no explanation
CIA Director John Ratcliffe made a secret visit to Moscow last Tuesday, with European allies receiving no explanation for the trip. The previous CIA chief, William Burns, flew there in November 2021 in an attempt to deter the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Robert Pszczel, former director of NATO's Information Office in Moscow, told Wirtualna Polska that many European capitals may be left uncertain about the visit's purpose.
