Far-right leader "Jaszczur" faces appeal trial in Gdańsk for hate speech
The appeal trial of Wojciech Olszański, known as "Jaszczur" and leader of the far-right group Rodacy Kamraci, opened Thursday at the Court of Appeal in Gdańsk. He is charged with inciting hatred on national and ethnic grounds and with carrying out an assault motivated by xenophobia and racism. The case is the latest stage in legal proceedings against one of Poland's prominent far-right figures.
