US CEOs earn 614 times more than workers at 100 lowest-paying S&P 500 companies

The average CEO at the 100 largest, lowest-paying S&P 500 corporations earned 614 times more than their average worker last year, according to the Institute for Policy Studies' latest Executive Excess report. Between 2019 and 2025, CEO pay rose 41.4%, unadjusted for inflation, while median worker pay at the same firms grew just 20.7%. The findings highlight widening pay disparities at the top of corporate America.
