Piesiewicz arrested — prosecutors to probe €40,000 watch gift from Kral

Radosław Piesiewicz, head of the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOI), was arrested Thursday in connection with the Zondacrypto affair. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek confirmed at a press conference that prosecutors will examine, among other matters, a watch worth approximately €40,000 that Piesiewicz allegedly received from Przemysław Kral. Żurek said formal charges against Piesiewicz had not yet been announced.
