IPN opens probe against MEP Braun for denying Auschwitz genocide

A prosecutor at the IPN's Kraków Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation opened an investigation Wednesday into MEP Grzegorz Braun over a statement made in Kraków on 25 August. The case concerns publicly denying, contrary to established facts, the genocide committed at the Nazi German concentration camp KL Auschwitz-Birkenau. This is another in a series of legal proceedings targeting Braun.
