Minister Gawkowski asks EU to fine Meta over ad scams targeting Brzoska

Poland's Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski has filed a request with the European Commission to impose a fine on Meta over advertising fraud on Facebook and Instagram. InPost CEO Rafał Brzoska has repeatedly been the victim of such scams, in which fake ads use his likeness. In response, Brzoska today announced the launch of ScamWatch, a tool to help users combat fraudulent advertising.
