Jeju Island mystery: mass disappearances and investigator accused of falsifying records

On the South Korean island of Jeju, police are investigating 298 missing persons cases all handled by a single officer accused of falsifying search records. Four bodies of missing persons were found in the second half of August. The case has alarmed residents and raised serious questions about police practices on the island.
