Deputy minister on Piesiewicz: "He was simply a fixer"

Deputy Sports Minister Ireneusz Raś told Interia that Radosław Piesiewicz became PKOI president solely through the influence of the previous government, promising sports federations funding from state-owned companies in exchange for votes. Raś described him bluntly as a "fixer" and said doubts about his ethics existed from the very beginning. Piesiewicz has since been detained by authorities.
